The Israeli military says its aircraft struck two smuggling tunnels along the Gaza Strip border after a rocket fired by Palestinian militants hit southern Israel.

Gaza health officials say four people were slightly injured in the attack early today.

Palestinian militants use the tunnels to smuggle food, livestock, weapons and other goods into Gaza from Egypt.

The rocket attack on Tuesday caused no damage or injuries.
