The IRFU will make a final decision tomorrow whether to postpone this month's Six Nations clash with England at Lansdowne Road because of Britain's foot-and-mouth crisis.

The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) made the announcement about the fourth-round game, scheduled for March 24th, after a meeting with the Department of Agriculture today.

"Officers of the IRFU met with officials of the Department of Agriculture today at which the IRFU sought guidance in relation to the playing of domestic and international fixtures in light of foot and mouth disease precautions," the IRFU said in a statement.

"The Department of Agriculture will give its formal advice and recommendations to the Union tomorrow, when a further statement will be issued."
