Two gardaí seriously injured in Sligo collision

Two traffic corps motorbikes collided with car at junction this morning

Two gardaí were seriously injured in a collision in Sligo town today.

The traffic corps members were each on a motorbike when both bikes were involved in a collision with a car.

The incident took place at about 10am at the junction of Clarion Road and Manorhamilton Road.

The gardaí were taken to Sligo General Hospital to be treated.Their conditions are believed to be serious but not life-threatening.
