Man’s body recovered from Wexford Harbour

The body of a man has been recovered from Wexford Harbour.

It is reported the man lost his footing while on a boat and slipped into the water.

A member of the public alerted emergency services and a search involving Wexford lifeboat, coastguard units and a coastguard helicopter was carried out.

The man’s body was taken from the water shortly before 6pm.
