Man dies following single-vehicle crash in Limerick

A man in his 30s has died following a single-vehicle crash in Limerick.

The incident occurred on the M7 motorway near Junction 28, Castletroy, at about 10am on Tuesday morning.

The man was the sole occupant of the car.

The scene of the incident has been closed for examination by Garda forensic investigators .

The motorway is closed northbound between Junction 29 at Ballysimon and Junction 28, and diversions are in place for drivers.
