Man (30) shot in both legs in north Belfast attack

The man ’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening

Police in Northern Ireland are investigating a shooting which injured one man in Belfast on Monday.

The man, who is believed to be 30 years old, was shot in both of his legs in a paramilitary style attack

A spokesman for the Police Service in Northern Ireland (PSNI) said the man’s injuries “are not believed to be life threatening”.

The man was shot on Velsheda Court, which is in the Ardoyne area of North Belfast.

A spokesman for the PSNI said there were no further details available on Monday evening, other than that the police service are investigating the incident.
