Gardaí appeal for witnesses over fatal Wexford crash

Gardaí are investigating a road crash in Co Wexford yesterday evening in which a 63-year-old woman died.

The incident happened at Harvey Place in New Ross at about 7pm when the car in which the woman was travelling struck a wall. Her body was taken to Wexford General Hospital where a post mortem is to be arranged.

The male driver (59) was also brought to Wexford General Hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.
