Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said today he is certain that Iran is secretly building nuclear arms.
"We are of the view that the Iranians are continuing to pursue their plans to create a capacity for non-conventional weapons," he said during a visit to Germany.
"Nothing that we've seen so far has changed our view on that. We're certain that the Iranians are now working seriously on a non-conventional weapon - and half of these operations are taking place in secrecy."
"No option should be forgotten," Mr Olmert added.
Israeli officials have said Mr Olmert planned to press for stronger international pressure on Iran at the United Nations, where a new sanctions resolution has been drafted.
Mr Olmert also said his government will "do what is necessary" to end rocket attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip.
