Iona catches Netfish for $270 million

Irish software firm Iona Technologies has bought Netfish Technologies for $270 million in Iona shares.

Irish software firm Iona Technologies has bought Netfish Technologies for $270 million in Iona shares.

The Netfish deal is Iona’s fourth in the last month and forms part of its new total business integration (TBI) strategy also announced today.

Iona say TBI will give a single platform that can address all of a company's software-development needs.

Iona shares were unchanged at euro 55.00 on the Irish Stock Exchange today. The shares have fallen 22 per cent since the start of the year.
