The Minister for Justice was urged yesterday to introduce selective internment of all known and active drug pushers for an initial period of six months.
Dublin city councillor Mr Eamonn O'Brien called for immediate action, saying the "softly, softly" approach by the Government had so far failed to halt the drug epidemic.
