Owen Hargreaves has been ruled out of England's friendly against Croatia in Ipswich on Wednesday.
He sustained a groin injury playing for Bayern Munich over the weekend and has been sent back to Germany for further treatment.
Sol Campbell, who has a shoulder problem, and Jonathan Woodgate, who has a slight knock, are unlikely to train this afternoon and will be reassessed in the morning.
David Beckham, (back strain) and Emile Heskey (calf) also sat out the main session today. Both will train in the gym as a precautionary measure.
