The Irish Framers Association (IFA) has launched a new initiative aimed at giving farmers access to all information and details of the various schemes under the National Development Plan.
The 'IFA Guide to the New Farm Schemes'will be sent to the IFA's 85,000 members over the course of the next few weeks and will provide details on funding from the CAP Rural Development Budget and the EU Structural Fund.
"By providing access to all the information on the various schemes, this guide will help farmers avail of their full entitlements and consequently improve the incomes of many farm families," said Mr Tom Parlon, IFA President.
