Mr John Hunt, director of the Hunt Museum, who two weeks ago handed over his family collection of art and antiquities valued at £50 million to the nation, is to be made a Freeman of Limerick.
He has also accepted the role of grand marshal for the Limerick St Patrick's Day parade.
