Builders' suppliers Heiton Group today said the buoyant housing and DIY sectors are delivering strong performance for the comapany.
In a trading update issued today, Heiton said the Irish DIY market continues to outpace other retail spending as the company's retail network has sustained strong performance.
The company's Atlantic Homecare chain of stores continues to expand with new openings planned for Tullamore, Wexford and Limerick.
In Britain, the group's business continued against the background of a growing economic and a property boom.

Overall, despite a forecasted moderating rate of growth in the Irish housing sector, the group said it was confident of achieving further growth in the year ahead.
