Three consultant posts in Sligo and a senior Health Service Executive (HSE) position are among the health sector jobs on offer this week.

Sligo General Hospital is inviting applications for a consultant anaesthetist with a special interest in pain medicine, and an orthopaedic surgeon.

The hospital is also seeking a consultant ophthalmic surgeon to be based at Sligo General Hospital (eight sessions per week) and Letterkenny General Hospital (three sessions per week).

All three positions come with a salary of €169,007.

The position involves the development and delivery of all services in the western administrative area within available resources of about €1.2 billion and 13,000 staff.
