The Hero's Journey,as developed by psychologist Paul Rebillot 35 years ago, will be the theme of a workshop for men and women in Slí an Chroí, Kiltegan, Co Wicklow, from July 17rd-23rd.

The workshop (the theme of which was mentioned in Tony Bates’s column last week) will be led by members of Paul Rebillot’s School of Gestalt and Experiential Teaching in Ireland.

** Hypnobirthing classes teach couples how to use relaxation, breathing and self-hypnosis techniques in labour. ** A new software package to assess medical students’ clinical skills has been developed by Dr Thomas Kropmans, senior lecturer in medical education at the National University of Ireland Galway. The package has since been commercialised by a campus company and sold to the University of Leuven in Belgium.
