There will be opportunities to try out lots of complementary therapies in aid of Temple Street Children’s University Hospital on Saturday from 2.30pm-5.30pm in the Ashbourne House Hotel, Ashbourne, Co Meath. Thirty-minute sessions of massage, reiki, reflexology and more are available for €20 per session.

Achill Secret Garden on Achill Island, Co Mayo, has an interesting series of workshops this month. They include Return to our Native Place on August 6th and 7th, which explores our connection to the divine and the earth through art, poetry and meditation. On August 27th and 28th, Anne Tyrrell, singer and Naked Voice facilitator, will lead a workshop entitled, Sounding Your Sacred Voice.

Psychocalisthenics (Pcals) is a series of 23 movements and breathing exercises that claims to stretch every muscle and organ in the body.
