Padraig Harrington is tied for the lead with Denmark's Thomas Bjorn despite a shaky start to the fourth round of the Deutsche Bank - SAP Open TPC of Europe in Hamburg this afternoon.

The Dubliner responded from the disappointment of an opening bogey to hole four birdies and leave himself on 18 under through 11 holes.

Bjorn, having started the day on ten under, birdied eight through 15 holes to shoot to the top of the leaderboard.

From tee to green there was nobody better than Ireland's Darren Clarke and the Dungannon man may well have been vying for the lead had he sunk some crucial putts. As it stood with 14 played however, Clarke was four under for the day and three off lead.

Harrington's playing partner for the day, Graeme McDowell is four off the pace and was one under for the day.

McDowell's fellow rookie, Peter Lawrie, tarnished his card with a bogey at the last to finish on 13 under after a round of 68.

Of the contenders, only Justin Rose has finished (-16) while Retief Goosen is out on his own on 17 under with 13 holes played.
