Gardai in Co Monaghan have questioned a local youth in connection with a malicious attack on a Free Presbyterian hall in Drumalish, Castleblayney last September. A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions concerning the attack, in which five panes of glass were broken.
The leader of the Free Presbyterian church, Dr Ian Paisley, came to Dublin in September to meet the Taoiseach about what he claimed was a campaign of sectarian attacks on church property in the Republic.
