GARDAI acting on the claims of a clairvoyant have switched their search for the missing Co Kilkenny woman, Ms Josephine Dollard (22), to Edenderry in Co Offaly.

Plainclothes detectives, uniformed gardai and civil defence units combed a small area near Edenderry at the weekend but found nothing.

The search was switched to Edenderry on Friday after a Co Westmeath clairvoyant, Mr Michael Hannon, said he was convinced Ms Dollard's body was in a bog, lying in shallow muddy water between two bridges. The search was concentrated on a stretch of Bord na Mona bog on the Edenderry Rathangan road.

Ms Dollard, from Callan, was last seen alive in Castledermot near midnight on November 9th last. It is believed that two or three days after her disappearance a man was seen acting suspiciously in the area where the clairvoyant claims her body now is.
