An investigation has begun following the discovery of a man’s body in Dundalk last night.

An investigation has begun following the discovery of a man’s body in Dundalk last night.

The man, in his forties, was found at his home in Muirheavnamore at about 11 p.m. A Garda spokeswoman said they were "keeping an open mind" on the cause of death.

Asst state pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy is to conduct an examination later today.
