Gardaí in Kilrush, Co Clare last night seized €100,000 worth of counterfeit golf clubs.
The seizure was made by gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigations Anti-Racketeering unit and local gardaí following the search of a warehouse in the Kilrush area.
Gardaí believe that the clubs were imported to Ireland for sale here.
A 39-year-old Co Clare man has been arrested and is being detained in Kilrush Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
