Gardaí at Dublin's Bridewell Garda Station, are asking for any relatives of 71 year old Patrick Dineen to contact them.
Mr Dineen from St Bricans Park, Arbour Hill died of natural causes at his home on April 10th. His body was subsequently taken to the City Morgue in Fairview, Dublin.
Gardaí are trying to locate friends and family members of the deceased. Patrick Dineen who retired from Dublin Corporation in 2001 is a son of William Dineen and Mary Hickey.
Mr Dineen's family was from Lady's Well, Blackpool, Co Cork. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gardaí at the Bridewell Garda Station on 01 6668200.
