Gardaí are investigating the abduction of a man from his Dublin home this morning after he was found safe and alone in Kilteel, Co Wicklow, early this morning.
Shortly after midnight last night, three armed and masked men were reported to have broken into a house on Tully Hall Crescent in Lucan, West Dublin, and tied up the two occupants.
The intruders put one of the men into the back of his Subaru Impreza car and drove it away, leaving the second man free to untie himself and make an emergency call to gardaí.
The abducted man was driven to Kilteel where the gardaí found him a little after 4 a.m. The stolen car has yet to be located.
