Gardaí in Dublin are advising people to be on the alert for forged €50 notes currently in circulation.
Those working in retail outlets, especially pubs, are asked to be particularly vigilant.
Bar staff asked to provide €5, €10 and €20 notes in exchange for €50 notes should satisfy
themselves fully as to the authenticity of the notes.
