A member of the Garda Síichana was stabbed in Dublin this morning.
The stabbing happened during an incident in Ballymun when youths attacked two Gardai on arriving at the scene of a disturbance at Sandyhill Avenue at 11 am.
One Garda suffered wounds to his legs during the attack.
Two individuals were arrested and are being held at Ballymun Garda station under Section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
