A case in which a man is seeking to have the Garda Commissioner removed was adjourned in the Supreme Court yesterday.

Mr Donal O Siodhachain, of Cork, is applying to appeal the High Court's refusal to grant him an injunction.

He told the Supreme Court yesterday his application was to have the Commissioner removed for allegedly allowing unlawful importation of 13 tons of drugs, prohibited under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Mr Justice O'Flaherty, presiding, told Mr O Siodhachain his case would be listed when it suited the court.
