The future of the Cabin Fever series depends on the whether the nine contestants wish to continue after the sailing vessel sank on rocks off Tory Island, the programme's executive producer said.

Mr Julian Vignoles, said the contestants were traumatised but otherwise unhurt. What happened next was entirely dependent on their physical health and mental health, he said.

The nine contestants aboard the 90-foot schooner were rescued when it ran onto a reef off the Co Donegal island yesterday.

Today UK Marine Casualty Investigation Board inspectors are to inspect the site of the shipwreck today.
