LAHORE - Pakistani police yesterday announced the arrests of four men in connection with last month's bombing at Lahore's international airport and alleged they were working for Indian intelligence.

City police chief Chaudhry Sajjad Ahmed said Mr Mohammad Ishaq (30), a Pakistani science graduate who had been arrested last week, had confessed to being the mastermind of the July 22 airport explosion which killed six people and injured around 60.

Police identified the three other suspects as Mr Mohammad Afzal, Mr Abdul Ghafoor and Mr Shamsher Ali Shah.
