A 27-year-old man died yesterday after his motorcycle collided with a lorry on the Beamore Road in Drogheda at around 3.30 pm. The man was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital but was prounounced dead on arrival.

A man in his 40s died in the early hours of yesterday morning after he was struck by a vehicle in Co Donegal. He was struck by the vehicle on the N15 between Ballyshannon and Donegal town shortly after 12.30am.

The man's body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital for a post mortem examination.

In the North, a 16 year-old girl has died from injuries she received in a traffic incident in Lisburn on Friday night.  Elyce Lewsey from Oakridge, Lisburn, was involved in a single-vehicle accident on the Rock Road shortly after 9pm on Friday night.

Elsewhere, a 20 year-old man who was involved in a car accident in Co Down on 23rd of October has died in hospital.

Daniel David McCormack from Castlewellan, was involved in a two-car collision on the Milltown Road in Newry, close to the Benagh Road junction.
