This afternoon’s meeting at Fontwell has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Clerk of the course Geoff Stickels had planned to hold an 8am inspection but after further overnight rain, he had to take an early decision.
He said: "Following nearly an inch of rain in the last 24 hours, we have had to abandon as the track is waterlogged. We had about four millimetres of rain up to 9pm last night."
