More fog caused another delay at the Lancome Trophy golf in Paris today. After two brief hold-ups in the second round, officials decided to start the third round more than two hours later than scheduled once play could not begin on time.

A total of 78 players had survived the halfway cut and instead of all going off the first tee they were split into two halves and sent off both the front and back nines to make up the lost time.

That enabled leaders Mark Roe, Sergio Garcia and Anthony Wall to keep to their original 12.25pm start - and, of course, enabled television coverage to remain the same.

Roe, 10 under par despite playing his second round with a left wrist three times its normal size because of a wasp sting, was one ahead of Garcia and Wall.
