Two Finglas brothers have been remanded in custody for sentence for their roles in the 1997 armed theft of £132,000 from a Co Louth bank. John Martin (29), Kippure Park, pleaded guilty to armed robbery at the Bank of Ireland, Ardee, on November 17th, 1997. His brother, Paul Martin (30), of the same address, pleaded guilty to handling the money at Fuinseog, Ardee, on November 18th, 1997. They are to be sentenced on March 30th.
