A file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions after a man was arrested and questioned in relation to a foiled robbery in Limerick city yesterday.
The man stole a briefcase containing thousands of euro from a shop in Limerick city at 2 p.m. but was apprehended by an off-duty member of the gardai.
The man was released yesterday evening after questioning.
