A man who received serious head injuries after an assault in Limerick city on Wednesday died yesterday in Cork University Hospital. Gardai said Mr Dessie Corr, of St Munchin's Street, was attacked by three youths in St Mary's Park on Wednesday evening. A youth appeared in Limerick District Court on Thursday charged with the assault and has been remanded in custody.
