Counterfeit clothing worth an estimated €1.5 million has been seized by gardaí in Dublin's Liberties district.

Counterfeit clothing worth an estimated €1.5 million has been seized by gardaí in Dublin's Liberties district.

Six shops were raided in the Meath Street area by gardaí from Kevin Street and the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

The fake designer clothes bore labels from such names as Ben Sherman, Burberry, Levis, Calvin Klein, Adidas and Nike.

No arrests were made.
