Families Against Intimidation and Terror has condemned the destruction of three mechanical diggers in north Belfast belonging to a building company from Co Derry. The group claimed the machinery was burned because the firm refused to pay protection money to the UDA.
FAIT spokesman Mr Vincent McKenna said the RUC should be "sent in to deal with the terrorists once and for all."
