Gardai have appealed for more information about the attack on an Italian student in Fairview Park, Dublin, last Thursday night. Guido Nasi (17), from Turin, is in a critical condition at Beaumont Hospital after being assaulted with a beer bottle on a footpath near railings on Annesley Bridge Road at about 10.30 p.m.
Gardai said a No 27 Dublin Bus was travelling towards the city at the time. They asked passengers who may have witnessed the attack to contact Clontarf station on 01853 1000.
