Glasgow - A former football manager of Celtic boys' club was yesterday found guilty of sexually abusing three former young players including Alan Brazil.

James Torbett (51), of Lenzie, near Glasgow, was found guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court where a jury took seven hours to reach a majority verdict. He was found guilty of three charges of shameless and indecent conduct against former boys' club players Brazil, now 39, David Gordon (38), and James McGrory (44), between October 1967 and March 1974.

Sentence was deferred until November 27th.
