Brussels - EU environment ministers yesterday urged the European Commission to come up with a proposal "as quickly as possible" for ratification of the Kyoto Protocol on reduction of greenhouse gases.
The EU Environment Commissioner, Ms Margot Wallstrom, said the commission was prepared to draft the necessary ratification proposal.
