An exhibition of manuscripts and artefacts from the 1798 rebellion was opened in Trinity College last night by the British ambassador to Ireland, Mrs Veronica Sutherland.
Among the exhibits on display in the Long Room is the diary of Wolfe Tone written on the expedition to Bantry Bay.
