The last English soccer supporter to be extradited to the State following the Lansdowne Road riots two years ago was returned for trial to the Circuit Criminal Court yesterday.

Mr Jerome Lindley (29), a salesman and father of one, from Pennycress Way, Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, appeared in Dublin District Court accused of four public order offences at the stadium on February 15th, 1995. He is accused of having a piece of seating with intent to cause injury, criminal damage to seating, rioting and violent behaviour. He spent last weekend in custody in Mountjoy Prison but was released on independent bail of £5,000 bail on Monday.
