At least eight people were killed today when unidentified gunmen opened fire at a gathering of Shia Muslims in southern Pakistani city of Karachi, hospital officials and witnesses said.
Nine people were wounded in the shooting by two attackers as Shia Muslims were entering a mosque to offer their dusk prayers. The assailants fled the scene after shooting.
