Johannesburg - A shoot-out yesterday between rival taxi associations left eight people dead and at least 13 others wounded in the town of Empangeni, 200km north of Durban, South African police said. One suspect was arrested and 19 firearms were confiscated, including pistols, shotguns and one automatic rifle.
