Voluntary Service International is looking for young people interested in spending some time working on its volunteer work programmes in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Short term programmes (one to two months) are designed to allow people (aged over 21) to gain an understanding of developing countries by participating in voluntary work projects, which are organised by local organisations in Ghana, Uganda, India, Sri Lanka, Nicaragua, Mexico and a number of other countries. Voluntary Service International will publish full details of its projects in a booklet to be launched on March 18th. For more information contact Tom Ryder at (01) 855 1011 or e-mail him at vsi@iol.ie
