THE ASSOCIATION of Teachers of English has organised a talk on Junior Cert marking, to place on March 2nd from 2.30 to 4.30 p.m. The presenter will be Department of Education inspector Pat Coffey, and the talk will take place in the Teachers' Centre, St Patrick's College, Drumcondra, Dublin. The south eastern branch of the Association of Geography Teachers has organised a morning seminar on map reading and aerial photography and an afternoon seminar on urban studies fieldwork. This in service training will take place in Waterford Teachers' Centre (tel: (051) 76892) on Saturday, March 23rd.
