Second chance for new skills

THE Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs administers a range of second chance education programmes to help unemployed people and lone parents improve or update their skills. There are a number of programmes covered by the initiative and details of what they are and how the system operates is contained in a pamphlet called Back to Education Programmes.
