Due to a combination of the lecturer's illness and our own error, the dates given in last week's EL for a series of public talks in NUI Maynooth are incorrect.
John Wilson Foster, Professor of English at the University of British Columbia, Canada, will speak this Thursday on "Titanic and The Machine Age"; next Monday, February 19th, on Darwinism in Ireland; and Wednesday, February 21st, on "Fieldwork and Literature". All lectures will be delivered in the lecture theatre of the Callan Science Building, off the Kilcock Road, and start at 7.30 p.m.
