What's the boldest thing you ever did in school? Sheana: We tormented the only male teacher. Anna: Myself and my friends wore garters and hiked our skirts up quite high.

Who was your favourite teacher and why? Sheana: My English teacher Sr. Brid. She always pushed us to our full potential. Also my history teacher Mrs Whelan, who made history incredibly exciting. Anna: Sr. Cecily was a dedicated, enthusiastic music teacher, who loved music and believed everybody had musical talent.

Who was the object of your first crush? Sheana: Roger Taylor from Duran Duran and my sister's boyfriend who looked very like him. Anna: A science teacher

What was your earliest career ambition? Sheana: I always wanted to be a teacher or a lecturer, to follow in my mum's footsteps. Anna: I wanted to be an air hostess.

Were you cool or nerdy at school? Sheana: I certainly wasn't in the ultra-cool Benetton-clad group, but I wasn't in the totally nerdy group either. I was a swot with maybe two Benetton tops. Anna: I think I was a teeny bit cool in school.

Did you go to college? Sheana: I went to UCD and studied psychology and a Master's in social psychology. Anna: I studied music technology as a mature student in London.

What song most reminds you of your schooldays? Sheana: Anything by The Cure. Anna: Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi.

Were your schooldays the best days of your life? Sheana: I loved my school, but college was where I came into my own. I was independent, I loved psychology, I was involved in the arts society, I partied hard, I made lifelong friends and I met my husband. Anna: I adored school, but life is pretty good now.
