The One World Centre in Belfast has produced an active learning geography resource, suitable for Junior Certificate students. Called Exploring Our World: Investigating issues of interdependence and social justice in the 21st century, it provides students with geographical knowledge and opportunities to respond and contribute to the world around them. Topics covered include inequality, sustainable development, trade, child work, debt, aid, women at work and refugees/asylum seekers.

Each pack contains detailed teacher notes with up-to-date geographical information, instruction in the use of activities, additional resources and useful organisational contacts. It also has a student booklet with activity sheets that can be photocopied and overhead projector acetates. The resource pack is available now and costs £20.00 sterling.
